Capdell Stir Rocking Armchair

Winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2016, Stir is a collection of chairs in beech plywood with a curved chair back and soft fabric upholstery. The Stir Rocking Armchair, designed by Kazuko Okamoto, is inspired by the traditional Japanese doll Okiagari Kobosh with its light, ethereal and clean look.  The rocking base is made up of a wooden semi-circle which sits in perfect symmetry with the semi-circular enveloping arms. The Stir Rocking Armchair has a beech laminated frame available in a range of stains with an upholstered seat and backrest. The versatility of Stir makes it perfect for a range of environments including contemporary waiting areas, office break out areas and public spaces.
